We are seeking a Legal Manager for a leading client in the real estate sector based in Tokyo. This important role supports the General Counsel in Japan, providing legal and compliance services. You will handle legal matters related to logistics and data center properties and related fund activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Offer legal advice for land acquisition, construction, leasing, and fund management.
- Draft and negotiate various business contracts, including NDAs, Joint Ventures, and Leases.
- Manage relationships with external law firms and oversee transactions.
- Support compliance and risk management.
- Oversee Internal Audit and assist with company secretarial tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure Occupational Health & Safety compliance.
- Coordinate legal and compliance matters with the head office.

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of relevant experience, either in-house or at a law firm.
- Experience in Japanese real estate and fund management is a strong advantage.
- Real Estate Brokerage Manager qualification is a plus.
- Ability to identify and manage legal and compliance risks.
- Skilled in applying legal knowledge to business situations.
- Fluent in English, with business-level Japanese skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Excellent communication and professionalism.
