Legal and Compliance Officer

I am working with a leading global real estate investment company that currently has over $50 billion USD of assets under management. They are looking to add a legal and compliance officer to their team in Tokyo.

The requirements for this position are as follows:

・ Substantial experience in the legal/compliance function at a Type I, Type II or DIM business or at an asset manager with public distribution experience preferred
・ Experience with marketing review and sales practices
・ Extensive knowledge of FSA, JSDA and ITA Rules
・ Fluent in English and Japanese (oral and written)
・ Strong relationship management skills
・ Proactive, detail and solution oriented
・ High level of integrity, confidentiality, and judgment
