A growing client in the Fintech / financial services sector is searching for a Java Engineer. Senior Engineer positions are available for experienced candidates.

This is an English-based role. It does not require fluent Japanese, although Japanese communication ability will be helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in product/project-based teams.
• Design and develop features for financial applications.
• Contribute to high-performance Java-based financial systems, such as trading gateways, data feed handlers, and algorithms.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in development on high-performance enterprise systems (5+ years for senior developers).
• Detailed knowledge of Java.
• Familiarity with distributed systems & network programming.
• Ability to use Linux/Unix commands and tools for scripting and troubleshooting.
