Digital Transformation Project Manager

Position Overview:

As the Digital Transformation Project Manager, you will lead and oversee comprehensive transformation initiatives that align with the organization's strategic objectives, reporting directly to CEO and acting as the number 1 person in charge for digital transformation. Your role will be pivotal in driving the adoption of digital tools, optimizing processes, and ensuring that the organization transitions smoothly into a more digitally enabled and process-driven future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of Digital Transformation Initiatives: Lead key digital transformation projects that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer engagement, and foster innovation across various business units.

  • CRM and SAP Implementation: Manage the implementation and optimization of key IT systems such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and SAP. This includes ensuring the systems are effectively integrated and aligned with the organization's business processes.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements, utilizing digital tools to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

  • Change Management: Manage and lead change initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of digital transformation efforts across the organization. This includes preparing teams for change, managing resistance, and embedding new processes sustainably.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across all functions to co-develop innovative solutions that meet evolving business needs.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between project teams and senior leadership, ensuring alignment on transformation strategies and maintaining clear communication of project goals and progress.

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all digital transformation efforts are aligned with the organization's broader strategic objectives, transitioning the company into a more process- and data-driven entity while preserving its core identity of innovation.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Background: Degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of digital tools and methodologies.

  • Experience: Over 7 years of experience in leading large-scale transformation projects, preferably in a multinational environment. Experience managing projects across multiple functions, including IT, operations, and business development, is essential.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage, influence, and align diverse stakeholders.

  • Change Management Expertise: Proven ability to lead and implement change initiatives, with a strong understanding of change management principles and techniques.

  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing projects from inception to completion using methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

  • CRM and SAP Expertise: Strong experience with the implementation and management of CRM and SAP systems, ensuring they are effectively integrated with business operations.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align transformation projects with long-term business goals and develop strategies to overcome barriers to change.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills with a creative approach to solving complex challenges.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working in a global environment, with an understanding of cultural differences and their impact on change initiatives.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in both Japanese and English is required.
