A leading company in the semiconductor industry is looking for an experienced Finance and Tax Director to join their Tokyo team. This key position involves managing financial operations with a strong focus on taxes.


Key Responsibilities

• - Oversee annual and quarterly financial closings, with a focus on tax implications.
• - Ensure accurate Tax Provision and Tax Package in line with US GAAP.
• - Prepare and review corporate, resident, and consumption tax returns.
• - Support transfer pricing documentation and related activities.
• - Lead tax-related projects and provide guidance on tax reforms and inquiries.
• - Handle tax investigations and related tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• - At least 10 years of experience in finance.
• - Extensive experience in tax roles within a corporate or tax accounting firm, including exposure to Big 4.
• - Strong skills in tax effect accounting and tax return preparation.
• - Business-level fluency in English and Japanese.
