We are working with a luxury hotel brand launching its first property in Japan. They need an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial operations as they prepare to open a new hotel in Tokyo. This role is crucial for shaping financial strategy and ensuring the hotel's success from the start.


Responsibilities:

• - Manage all financial tasks during the pre-opening phase, setting up a strong financial system for future success.
• - Advise the General Manager and leadership team on business direction, resource use, and growth opportunities.
• - Work with revenue and sales teams to create strategies that boost income from hotel services.
• - Set up controls to manage financial risks and ensure compliance with procedures and local laws.
• - Use technology to improve processes and support decision-making, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports.
• - Build strong relationships with property owners, explaining financial results and addressing their needs.

Qualifications:

• - At least 4-5 years of experience as a Director of Finance, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• - Skilled in financial management, including cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and project management.
• - Proven ability to assess business trends and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
• - Experience in managing owner relations and handling complex financial agreements.
• - Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
