Accounting Manager – Retail Industry (Hybrid, up to 15M, Japanese Proficiency)

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for a well-known fashion retail company. This role offers a mix of on-site and remote work and requires fluency in Japanese. You will help ensure the company's financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead accounting operations and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Oversee cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Handle all tax-related activities, including filing returns and managing audits.
- Coordinate responses to audits from both internal and external sources.
- Ensure financial systems run smoothly.
- Help prepare budgets and forecasts, offering financial insights.
- Communicate with the headquarters in Italy to align with global financial practices.
- Improve business processes for better efficiency.
- Lead and guide a team of four.

Qualifications:

- Over 10 years in finance, with at least 2 years in an accounting management role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Experience in retail or consumer goods is a plus.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with SAP software is a plus.
