Accounting Manager (10m, Tech Company, Hybrid)


We are helping a leading tech company in the food delivery industry find an experienced Accounting Manager. This role is perfect for someone with a strong accounting background who wants to grow in a fast-paced and innovative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Handle General Ledger (GL) accounting for specific entities.
• - Enter and process primary accounting documents in the ERP system.
• - Ensure correct assignment of Japan Consumption Tax for reviews.
• - Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close.
• - Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and principles.
• - Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory reports for both Group and Japan, including corporate and consumption taxes.
• - Manage annual tax filings and monthly withholding tax for payroll and vendors.
• - Handle web banking and E-TAX (Japan) operations.
• - Support accounting-related questions and audit requests.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• - 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, or US GAAP.
• - Experience with SOX compliance is a plus.
• - Good analytical skills to understand complex financial data.
• - Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• - Familiarity with NetSuite is a bonus.
• - Fluent in English, with native-level Japanese (N1).
• - Experience with a Japanese subsidiary.
• - Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
