Accounting Manager (10-12m JPY, 3 days WFH!) - Global Retail

Our client are a global retail group, recruiting an Accounting Manager.

This is a team management role.

Our client offer great salary & flexible work options, allowing for remote work three days a week.

Responsibilities:

• - Lead & manage accounting team.
• - Lead special projects (eg. SAP SD/MM improvements).
• - Collaborate with global HQ.
• - Prepare detailed financial reports.
• - Update accounting policies / procedures to maintain SOX compliance.

Qualifications:

• - 8+ years of accounting experience
• - Understanding of US GAAP and Japanese GAAP, SOX, and Japanese Tax Law.
• - Skilled in SAP (FI/CO) General Ledger.
• - Experience in team management & project management.
• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.
• - US CPA certification (preferred).
